Merrilee created these digital works using a program called Zbrush. The program offers a relatively intuitive interface for artists who are accustomed to working in clay. Merrilee's goal is to recreate some of her existing works as a guide. This can include discrete parts of a more complex work, as well as variations of an existing work. These are original digital works of art, which were created entirely within the program.
They are not scans.
Works here are stored as files which can be exported any size. Once a digital work is finished, it still needs to go through the entire lost wax process in order to obtain a bronze casting.
